There’s not many places as exciting on the 4th of July as the oceanfront of the South Carolina Grand Strand. From any of our North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals you can sit on your balcony and watch the explosive fireworks. If you’re in one of our oceanfront North Myrtle Beach vacation rentals it’s even better as you’ll have a front row seat to the fireworks on the ground and those shot out low over the water.

There are various events taking place in celebration of Independence Day. Here are just a few.

There will be a Salute from the Shore Military Flyover on Wednesday, July 4 along the oceanfront. Turn your eyes to the eastern sky on the Fourth of July to wave to the F-16s of the 77th Fighter Squadron. "The Gamblers" of the 20th Fighter Wing stationed at Shaw Air Force Base will conduct a flyover of the South Carolina Coast.

The 19th Annual Fireworks display at the Cherry Grove Fishing Pier in North Myrtle Beach is scheduled for 9:30 pm on Wednesday, July 4th. The pier is located at 3500 N. Ocean Blvd. in the Cherry Grove section of North Myrtle Beach.

Barefoot Landing will host the gorgeous Myrtle Beach fireworks exhibit at 10:15 p.m. Wednesday at Barefoot Landing.

Head to Surfside Beach for a Fourth of July Celebration that promises loads of fun for the whole family. The Independence Day Celebration will be held from 6-10 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 at 13 North Ocean Blvd.
